By accessing https://botican.mxat the top you will find five buttons: "Humans", "Vets", "Upload prescription", "Account" and "Shopping cart". Click on the following icon: As in most social networks, (apothecary)n will ask you for the following information: First name, last name, email and password. Don't forget to write them down in a password manager, notebooks you don't use anymore or anywhere you are used to save this information.

Once registration is complete, you will be able to access your account, which has three basic sections.

Order history 

Here you will keep track of the date, price and name of the medications you purchased. 

Account details

Part of our commitment is to ensure the privacy of your privacy of your personal data. To verify that your personal information is correct and only of your knowledge, we recommend you to click on this section and, if necessary, update your name, email, address and telephone number.

Addresses

Your purchases are delivered to your home! In this section you will be able to register the location of the places where we can deliver. To register this data click on "Add new address". You will provide: First name, last name, company, address, apartment, city, country, province, zip code and phone number.

Safety guarantee 

Thanks to the reform of the General Health Law, since 2017 the use of medical cannabis is legal. Remember that for the purchase of any cannabis-based medicine it is necessary:

  1. Go to a health professional trained in the use of medical cannabis and its prescription. Don't forget that, from ICAN, day by day we update and expand the Network of Doctors.

  2. To have a prescription that complies with the requirements set forth in the law.

  3. Upload the prescription to the (apothecary)n system, which is an authorized pharmaceutical establishment. We have the certificates of analysis and can prove the legal origin of the cannabis derivatives to be used in the medicine.

What information should my prescription contain so that I do not have any difficulties when purchasing my medication?

Physician's data (full name, institution, specialty, professional license, office or hospital address and telephone number), patient's name, date of issue, physician's signature and prescription (name of the medication and breakdown of the ingredients of the magistral formula).

(botica)n has a help center to solve your doubts and assist you in any complication you may have at the time of your purchase. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 10:00-17:00 hours (Mexican time zone).

Our offer

At the moment we have two catalogs: One for the treatment of human patients and one for animals. Explore them in the tabs above: "Humans" and "Vets". You can also find other medications from compounding medicine. 

I already have my recipe, what is the process to follow?

At the top (next to the account icon) you will find the "Upload recipe" button, click and fill in the requested information: Email, full name, date of the recipe and the PDF file of the recipe. 

How do I know that my data was sent correctly?

Check the mailbox of the email with which you registered the purchase. If it is not in "received", click on "all", "promotions", "unwanted" or "spam". In the email you will be notified that "your recipe is being validated". 

Mission accomplished! Everything in order; I received the confirmation email. Now?

Once the prescription is uploaded, within 24 hours the staff in charge will evaluate the validity of the prescription and, if approved, will send you the direct link to the payment. You can pay with Mastercard and VISA debit and credit cards. If you do not receive an answer within the indicated time, you can write to us at pedidos@ican.mx

Oops! I think my product is not what I needed, what can I do? 

Don't be in a hurry! It has happened to all of us. The (botica)n website has a "Policies and returns" section. Below, we present a summarized version. If you are interested in more detailed information, you can consult our "Policies and Returns" section at the following web address: https://botican.mx/pages/politica-de-cambios-y-devoluciones or by clicking on the bottom of our site. 

1: Returns and/or exchanges are valid only in the first 15 calendar days from the moment the product is received.

2: We cannot exchange items purchased online. But you can return the item and make a new purchase. 

3: The merchandise must be returned unused, with their respective labels and return forms. In the case of compounding medicine: the return will only be valid if it does not correspond to the prescription. Shipping costs are not refundable.
4: The refund time will depend on the type of payment made.
